MEASUREMENTS: Outside Dimensions: 23-1/2" x 13-5/8" (596 mm x 348 mm). Inside Dimensions: 18-7/8" x 9-1/8" (479 x 231 mm). Cutout: 20-1/4" x 10-1/2 (516 mm x 268 mm) x 1" (25 mm) (hatch hinges). Low Profile at 3/8" (10mm) above the mounting surface. Intrusion below deck: 3/4" (19mm).

MARINE-GRADE MATERIAL: Made of High-impact and non-corrosion Off-White Polypropylene. It's also UV-stabilized to minimize degradation from prolonged sunlight exposure. Designed to withstand rough weather conditions.

EASY INSTALLATION: Designed to install on an internal or external application - flat surface. Mounting Template Included. 12 Pre-drilled holes. Screw Caps provide a finished appearance and help keep out debris. Hinge offers a 120 degrees lid opening. Feature 2 locking Slam Latch Handle. Water-tight, Black rubber seal ensures weatherproofing.

Boat hatches

These hatches replaced original hatches on a 2000 American Skiff. For being 23 years old and still functional I wanted to replace with the originals knowing they would last 20 years. Great fit that only needed a slight modification on the hinge side. Rugged hatches and made to last

Great hatches!

Just ordered another one of these to replace another broken manufactor’s hatch on my boat. I have a VIP Bay Stealth and they no longer build boats so I put four of these on my boat two years ago and they have held up great! I weight 305 lbs and have stepped on them several times and they never have broken. I fish only salt water. I recommend not putting the little plastic screw covers they provide you. I think they may have caused my screws to rust out because of salt water being trapped under them. Also use silicone to seal them in good. These fit perfect but I did have to use a cutting wheel to notch out where the hinges are because they are a slight different design than the ones from the factory.

Good hatch, not perfect

It's a good hatch and probably the best replacement for the older ones of the same dimension, which do break after a couple decades. Perfect fit, built about identically. But if you plan to use it in the deck, do note that when a full-grown adult walks across it there is some flex.
