Five Oceans' small wind indicator is ideal for small boats due to the size of the flag which comes with a bracket. The burgee is made using a stainless steel shaft, which reduces flapping in the wind and makes it much more accurate. A bit more durable than the plastic wind indicator as the wire can be bent to the correct position if distorted.

Works better than a wind flag

I bought a 3 foot long wind flag to tell wind direction and speed. This works a lot better for One Direction. The flag didn’t pick up a light winds.

It gave a good reading on wind direction

It gave a good reading on wind direction. The cloth material has to be reinforced or it ravels badly by the wind. This is our second one. We found the raveling problem on our first one. We like the size and use one for the boat and one for the shooting range.

Bought 5 of these to use as wind indicators at ...

Bought 5 of these to use as wind indicators at rifle range. Not sure how that will work now that I can see how they are designed. Well made but maybe not well suited for my purposes. Will try them out this weekend.
